Following the cancellation of the workshop earlier this year, we are pleased to confirm that the Lotterywest team will visit Narrogin on Thursday 8 October to deliver an in-person workshop for local government staff across the region.
Supported by the Shire of Narrogin, this practical session is designed for staff working in community development, grants, partnerships and local initiatives.
Learn how to strengthen your organisation’s projects and grant applications, while building your confidence to support community groups, clubs and local networks seeking funding from Lotterywest, Healthway and other government and philanthropic funders.
The workshop will cover:
- Clarifying project purpose and community need
- Designing initiatives with clear, measurable outcomes
- Building simple logic models and theories of change
- Using practical measurement tools for grants and reporting
- Guiding community groups through their grant applications.
Participants will leave with practical tools and templates to use in their own projects and when supporting community groups.
The session will be facilitated by Melanie Bainbridge, Senior Manager, Impact Design and Capability at Lotterywest, who brings more than 20 years’ experience in strategy, policy and community engagement.
