Dear Parents,

I hope you all had a lovely Easter and school holiday break and are ready for Term 2. I loved getting to know all the children in Term One, and it was wonderful to hear what they did on the school holidays. I am excited to see your child grow and flourish for the rest of this semester.

I would like to inform you that your child will still have their library visit on Tuesdays; please ensure your child has a bag with their name on it to put their book inside to keep safe.

Your child is required to wear the sport uniform in Pre-Primary, and hats are to be worn all year round. As it will be getting cooler, Pre-Primary students’ uniform can include the  navy trackpants, red school polo shirt and the navy sports jacket with the school logo.

This term I will be sending home 2 reading books with your student in their communication zip folders. The title of the book will be recorded in the students Reading Record Logbook, and it will be changed once a week on a Monday. One book will be a story to listen to every night and ask questions about, and the other book will be a decodable reader for your child to have-a-go at reading, sounding out letters and predicting what the words/picture are. These books are to be read a minimum of 4 nights a week.

Please remember to contact me via email to discuss any issues or concerns. Seesaw is not a form of communication, as it is just for the students’ work.

Kind regards,

Miss Cristie Lock
