Dear Parents/Guardians,

On Thursday 14th September, all Year 3 and Year 4 students will be presenting their STEM projects at a regional showcase in Katanning.  Students will have the opportunity to share their projects and look at projects students have done from the other Catholic schools in our region.  At the conclusion of the showcase, there will be a presentation, where various projects will be commended under a variety of categories.

The students will travel by bus to St Patrick’s School in Katanning and will leave St Matthew’s by 9.00am on Thursday morning.  The showcase will finish around 1.45 pm. We estimate an arrival time of 3:00 pm back at St Matthew’s School.

Students are asked to bring a packed lunch, including recess and fruit.  They will need their water bottle and hat.  Students are required to wear their sports uniform, including the school red sports shirt.

STEM projects will be able to be viewed during our school Open Day/St Matthew’s Feast Day afternoon from 2:30 on Thursday 21st September.

Don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions.

 Regards,
