Children’s Liturgy

On Sunday, Children’s Liturgy of the Word was led by Mrs Jodie Collins. We had a lovely group of children come together to learn about Jesus’ transfiguration on the mountain (Matthew 17: 1-9). They did a beautiful job creating pictures of Jesus in all his glory and were reminded when we have a hard day, we should remember that Jesus loves us and watches over us. We can listen to Jesus’ words, “Rise, and do not be afraid.” We can also think about our own happy memories and thank Jesus for always being with us.

Children’s Liturgy is scheduled for the second and last Sunday of every month of the school term. The remaining date for this term is: 22 March.

Volunteers are needed to teach these lessons. This is a great opportunity to help these eager youngsters learn the Word of the Lord. All teaching outlines and materials are supplied. Volunteers are required to have their Working with Children Check and attend a short orientation meeting. Please register your interest by emailing jodie.collins@cewa.edu.au
