As a result of the Parish survey, the original time for Sunday mass be reinstated.  Therefore, Sunday mass will commence at the agreed time of 9.30AM ON SUNDAY 27 SEPTEMBER 2020 AND AT 10.15AM ON THE 1ST SUNDAY IN THE MONTH.

Please also note that Fr Jay will be offering an extra mass on the 1st Sunday in the month at 5.30pm on Sunday.   There will not be a Saturday night mass.

Morning Tea will recommence on Sunday 27 September 2020 and we will need to adhere to the social distancing rule and the COVID-19 restrictions.

Children’s Liturgy

Children’s Liturgy of the Word commenced last Sunday with the wonderful Sr Sahaya.

Just before the Liturgy of the Word begins for the assembly, children (aged 4 to 10) are invited to go with the weekly leaders to the Parish Centre. During this special time, the volunteer teacher leads the children through prayers and readings that are simplified for children. Children’s Liturgy is scheduled for the second and last Sunday of every month of the school term. The remaining dates for this term are: 25 October, 8 November and 29 November.

Volunteers are needed to teach these lessons. This is a great opportunity to help these eager youngsters learn the Word of the Lord. All teaching outlines and materials are supplied. Volunteers are required to have their Working with Children Check and attend a short orientation meeting. Please register your interest by emailing jodie.collins@cewa.edu.au
