Camp Quality

We were very lucky to have the Camp Quality team come to visit St Matthew’s on Thursday 25 May. The performances focused on telling the broader cancer story, including how to support someone who is facing their own cancer diagnosis or that of a loved one.

Kindy Mothers’ Day

We hope all the Mums enjoyed our little “Mother’s Day Pamper and Picnic afternoon” at Kindy on Wednesday 10 May. It was so lovely to see every Mum
make it to the afternoon. The Kindy friends were very excited to be having Mummy come to Kindy – and enjoyed making all their little gifts and art surprises – plus dancing with mum and singing their songs. Although there was a little bit of stage fright, we thought the Kindy friends did a fabulous job in learning their songs with actions!

Simultaneous Reading

The Kindy and Pre-Primary classes walked over to Memorial Park to take part in this year’s Simultaneous Reading event hosted by Narrogin Library. The featured book was The Speedy Sloth by Rebecca Young. They had great fun decorating a party hat and taking part in a sloth race for the slowest competitor. A huge thank you to Kay Weaver, Library Manager, for inviting us to be part of this lovely event.

Play Cafe

We have been holding our Play Cafés for the last few Thursdays.  It has been so lovely to see so many little people enjoying their time together in the Kindy area. Play Cafe is open to all families in the Narrogin and surrounding community. Children between 0-5 years are welcome to attend. Children must be accompanied by a parent, grandparent or guardian.
