Year 6 Fundraising
Last term, the Year 6 class held two raffles to raise money for their Year 6 camp (Week 2, Term 2), end-of-year excursion and Graduation dinner.
Interschool Swimming
The Interschool Swimming Carnival team travelled to Williams to compete on Wednesday, 27 March. They represented our school wonderfully, both in sportsmanship and talent in the water. Congratulations to all of our competitors and our medal winners:

First Aid Incursions
On 16 April, Kindy to Year 6 students attended an incursion hosted by St John Ambulance. The First Aid Focus program aims to train and equip students with the skills to assess and respond to first aid situations, while developing strategies to seek help for themselves or others. Tanya Hansen, the Community Education Officer, demonstrated the correct first aid approach and students had the opportunity to practise and rehearse life-saving skills, at an age-appropriate level.
ANZAC Services
On Wednesday 24 April, Years 4 and 5 students attended the Combined Schools ANZAC Day service. This is an important time to reflect on the men and women of the armed forces and the sacrifices they have made so that we can enjoy lives of freedom. Jackson (Yr 5) confidently read a prayer written by . Bodeen (Yr 5) and Sienna (Year 5) lay the wreath on behalf of our school. A sincere thank you to Miss Montgomery, Miss Sutton and Miss Whiteford for preparing our students for this service. We also thank Miss McCormack for leading the combined schools choir and providing the music for the service.
On April 25, Holly (Year 6) and Totenda (Yr 6) also represented the school beautifully by laying a wreath at the community ANZAC service. Thank you, girls.
Year 6 Camp
Our Year 6 Camp ran from Monday to Wednesdayday last week, By all accounts it was filled with lots of laughter, strong friendships, learning of new skills, displays of epic leadership, and life-long memories. Congratulations to our fabulous Year 6 class and a big thank you to Mr Muto, Miss Montgomery and Mrs Kilpatrick for making the camp possible.
