District Cross Country 6 June
The District Cross Country (Years 4 to 6) was held on Friday 6 June at Thomas Hogg Oval, Bannister Street, Narrogin. Our students showed excellent sportsmanship and should be very proud of their efforts. Our runners came 2nd place overall with 299 points. A special congratulations to Oscar (Yr 6) who came third in his section.
A huge thank you to our parent volunteers, the volunteers from St John Ambulance, Mrs Kilpatrick, Miss Sutton and Mrs Annear for helping this day be so successful.
First Holy Communion Retreat Day
As part of the Religious Education Curriculum, all students in Year 4 participated in a First Holy Communion Student Retreat Day on Friday 13 June, held at the St Matthew’s Parish Centre. The day was facilitated by Miss Monty and Ms Bailey. They completed some beautiful art work, baked bread and prayed together in preparation for the celebration of this sacrament.
First Holy Communion
Congratulations to our First Holy Communicants who celebrated the sacrament on 15 June. It was lovely to see how excited they were to take this next step in their faith journey. This is a very special day when they received Jesus in the most special way for the first time. They prepared for this day with the help of their parents, Father Joe and their teachers. May they take the friendship of Jesus with them wherever they go in their lives.

The Art Award for Week 8 went to Scarlett (Yr 3) for her colourful picture of an amazing sky. Congratulations, Scarlett.

The GOTCHA Award for Week 8 went to Rory (Yr 5). Congratulations, Rory.
