St Matthew’s School Narrogin

Indigenous Tennis & Learning Roadshow

Darren Patten and Jarron Kretschmann led our Year 5 and 6 students to tennis through basic instruction and games. They talked about the health benefits of tennis, the pathways it can offer young people, the proud indigenous history in tennis, but more importantly, they talked about the importance of coming to school, staying in school, completing their education and what options, support and pathways Murlpirrmarra Connection can offer to support students to complete and graduate through to Year 12 in any school they wish to attend. We sincerely thank Darren and Jarron for a wonderful workshop for our senior students.
