Project Compassion boxes

As the Church enters the Season of Lent, we are invited to participate in ‘almsgiving’, meaning engaging in acts of charity Last week, students brought home a small Project Compassion box, which families can use to collect donations over the next 5 weeks before returning them to school. Each class also has a larger box to collect donations.

All money raised through Project Compassion goes to Caritas Australia and directly benefits struggling communities all over the world. In Religious Education classes, students will learn where their donations go and how we can pray and help those less fortunate than us.

Art Award

At each assembly, our Year 6 leaders present the Art award. Congratulations to Hannah (Yr 2) for receiving the Art Award for her self portrait. So adorable!!

Making Jesus Real Award

Making Jesus Real is a way of life, Christ’s way.

It is about bringing the Catholic faith to life for our students by showing them how to live it every day. We give them the tools they need to feel the Spirit of Jesus each day and to find the God moments that are always happening around us.

At each assembly, our Year 6 leaders present the MJR award to student/s who are showing Christ values or being the face of Jesus. Last week’s recipient was Blake (Yr 4) for having good manners.

Honour Certificate

Congratulations to all our Honour Certificate recipients. We are very proud of you.
